ACCBE Accreditation Steering Committee Approves 2026 Accreditation Results

ACCBE convened its 2026 Accreditation Steering Committee (ASC) meeting on June 11 via video conference. Chaired by ASC Chairperson Prof. Hsu, Shih-Chun, the meeting brought together 14 distinguished Chinese-heritage scholars and business leaders from Taiwan, mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States to review and ratify this year's accreditation results.

Dr. Neil Harvison, Chairperson of the CHEA Recognition Committee, and Dr. Lennor Johnson, a committee member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), attended as observers — a meaningful affirmation of ACCBE's accreditation quality by international peers, and an important milestone in our pursuit of CHEA international recognition.

National University of Tainan — College of Management: Initial ACCSB Accreditation

The College of Management at National University of Tainan applied for ACCSB accreditation for the first time. Formally established in 2016 as the university's youngest college, it comprises two departments: Business and Management, and Public Affairs and Management (seven degree programs in total). The accreditation review team conducted a document review meeting in March 2026 and completed an on-site visit in April 2026, with evaluation focused on whether the college's quality assurance mechanisms are in place and functioning effectively, and whether its commitment to continuous improvement is substantively actionable.

Following deliberation and discussion among committee members, the ASC accepted the AWC's recommendation and resolved as follows: the College of Management, National University of Tainan is hereby approved for ACCSB accreditation — Accredited, Valid for 4 Years (valid through 2030).

Chinese Culture University — College of Business: Third-Cycle Re-Accreditation

The College of Business at Chinese Culture University underwent its third-cycle ACCSB Re-Accreditation Review upon the expiration of its previous accreditation term.
