ACCBE convened its 2026 Accreditation Steering Committee (ASC) meeting on June 11 via video conference. Chaired by ASC Chairperson Prof. Hsu, Shih-Chun, the meeting brought together 14 distinguished Chinese-heritage scholars and business leaders from Taiwan, mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States to review and ratify this year's accreditation results.
Dr. Neil Harvison, Chairperson of the CHEA Recognition Committee, and Dr. Lennor Johnson, a committee member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), attended as observers — a meaningful affirmation of ACCBE's accreditation quality by international peers, and an important milestone in our pursuit of CHEA international recognition.
National University of Tainan — College of Management: Initial ACCSB Accreditation
The College of Management at National University of Tainan applied for ACCSB accreditation for the first time. Formally established in 2016 as the university's youngest college, it comprises two departments: Business and Management, and Public Affairs and Management (seven degree programs in total). The accreditation review team conducted a document review meeting in March 2026 and completed an on-site visit in April 2026, with evaluation focused on whether the college's quality assurance mechanisms are in place and functioning effectively, and whether its commitment to continuous improvement is substantively actionable.
Following deliberation and discussion among committee members, the ASC accepted the AWC's recommendation and resolved as follows: the College of Management, National University of Tainan is hereby approved for ACCSB accreditation — Accredited, Valid for 4 Years (valid through 2030).
Chinese Culture University — College of Business: Third-Cycle Re-Accreditation
The College of Business at Chinese Culture University underwent its third-cycle ACCSB Re-Accreditation Review upon the expiration of its previous accreditation term. The following 16 departments, institutes, and degree programs (34 program tracks in total) participated in this review cycle: Department of International Business Administration, Department of International Trade, Department of Information Management, Department of Banking and Finance, Department of Accounting, Department of Tourism Management, Program of Marketing, English Program of Global Business, Bachelor Program of Leisure Management, Bachelor Program of Digital Media, Bachelor Program of Branding and Marketing for Fashion and Creative Industry, Master Program of Global Branding and Marketing, Master Program of Business Administration in Practicing, Master Program of Social Enterprise Management, Master Program of Advertising, and Bachelor Program of Performing Arts Management. The review team conducted a document review meeting in January 2026 and completed an on-site visit in March 2026.
Following deliberation and discussion among committee members, the ASC accepted the AWC's recommendation and resolved as follows: the College of Business, Chinese Culture University for ACCSB Re-Accreditation — Accredited, Valid for 4 Years (valid through 2030).

Public Announcement and Call for Third-Party CommentPublic Announcement and Call for Third-Party Comment
The Accreditation Council for Chinese Business Education (ACCBE), Chinese Management Association (CMA), is currently engaged in the recognition review process of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). ACCBE is scheduled to be reviewed by the CHEA Committee on Recognition on Monday, July 13, 2026.
As part of CHEA’s formal recognition review process, third parties independent of the accrediting organization under review are invited to submit comments regarding whether ACCBE meets the CHEA recognition standards. Such comments must be limited to matters related to ACCBE’s adherence to the CHEA recognition standards and must be received by CHEA no later than May 29, 2026.
Third-party comments must be submitted in writing and include the name and affiliation of the individual(s) making the comments. Individuals submitting comments may also indicate a desire to provide in-person comments at the regular meeting of the Committee on Recognition.
