Standardized and Rigorous Accreditation Procedures
ACCBE has established a standardized accreditation process to ensure the quality of business and management education.
Through a four-phase evaluation framework—from eligibility review to on-site review—the process helps business schools and programs implement continuous improvement and quality enhancement, thereby building a credible accreditation system for business education.
Phase 1: Eligibility Review
Determine whether the applicant institution is qualified to participate in the accreditation review and define the scope of accreditation.
Phase 2: Accreditation Review
Determine whether the applicant institution meets the requirements for accreditation and the accreditation outcome.
Phase 3: Mid-term Evaluation
Determine whether the accredited institution may continue to maintain its accreditation status.
Phase 4: Re-accreditation
Determine the re-accreditation outcome of the accredited institution.
