Organizational Development: Advancing Quality and International Engagement
The Accreditation Council for Chinese Business Education (ACCBE) was established to enhance the quality of Chinese-language business education. The organization has been recognized three times by the Ministry of Education as a Professional Accreditation Agency, supporting universities in building sustainable quality assurance systems.
Since its early development as ACCSB and its subsequent transition to ACCBE, the organization has remained committed to promoting rigorous, transparent, and internationally aligned accreditation standards, serving as a trusted partner for business schools and academic programs.
Development Milestones
2025
Submitted eligibility application documents and formally initiated the recognition process with the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
2022
The Accreditation Council for Chinese Business Education (ACCBE) was recognized for the third time by the Ministry of Education as a Professional Accreditation Agency.
2020
The accreditation organization was officially renamed the Accreditation Council for Chinese Business Education (ACCBE).
2018
Launched the Accreditation of Chinese Collegiate Programs of Business (ACCPB).
2017
ACCSB was again recognized by the Ministry of Education as a Professional Accreditation Agency.
2012
ACCSB was first recognized by the Ministry of Education as a Professional Accreditation Agency.
2007
The first meetings of the Accreditation Steering Committee (ASC) and the Accreditation Working Committee (AWC) were convened.
2005
The Chinese Collegiate School of Business Accreditation (ACCSB) was established.

ACCBE was recognized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) as a Professional Accreditation Agency in 2012, 2017, and 2022.
